I just remembered how I took our house help Lakshmi to PSBB KK Nagar. We had been asked to coach our house help. I asked Lakshmi and she was more than happy. I taught her tamizh for some days. She already knew the basics but she did not know how to read bus numbers. I’d like to think my coaching helped her. She was very loyal to my mother and came regularly until she could no longer do it. She was interested in watching Tamil films and would discuss films with my mother.
