I’m now calling myself an ambivert: someone who is midway between an introvert and extrovert. I like meeting people I have known for a while and get along with. I’m not too interested in meeting new people. That could also do with the fact that I’m in my late forties and rather set in my ways. I hate loud noises, bright lights and the kind of atmosphere you would find at a discotheque. I love writing, mandala art and creative coloring and painting. I prefer meeting friends over coffee or a meal. Another suggestion I make to friends is to meet at a cat café. There’s one in Chennai, too. My personality type is INFJ – A. Several years ago, it was INFP-T. I rarely meet friends and text only one close friend every day. Part of the reason for this is that I live very far away from the city. I’m the kind of girl who speaks when spoken to. Most of my friends are those extroverts who reached out to start a conversation and a friendship.
