We No Longer Say “Chums” To Refer To Periods

Let’s face it, most girls would agree that periods were never our chums. Chums are friends. They are pals. They are people who understand. But periods these days are not friendly or comforting. In fact we just sit on our comforter all day long and mope. We eat chocolate or ice cream, which we successfully avoided up until now and break our “eating clean” phase.

Yo-yo dieting.

Some people get pimples or acne. Others bleed like there’s no tomorrow. Some barely get any blood flow down there, and even those who don’t experience it aren’t happy.

When Aunt flow arrives, she reminds people of Aunt Agatha and not Aunt Dahlia.

The best thing to do at such times is to ‘take it easy’ and read a Wodehouse.
