Today, thanks to Habuild, I attended bits of a storytelling workshop for children.
Day12 : Kids Summer Camp with Tiny Mic Story | By @habuild
I’d missed all the earlier sessions, but I hopped onto this call since I had the details required to join in and I was curious.
I learned about The Emotion Wheel, which shows the names of different emotions, such as sadness, happiness, surprise, etc.
The facilitator who conducted the workshop conducted a version of JAM – just a minute – for the children. He switched on his timer on his mobile phone and let the children speak extempore about some event from their life for exactly a minute. The children did very well!
I learned that most children love stories about siblings. It was refreshing to see these children be spontaneous and talk. Their stories felt conversational.
Siddharth, the facilitator, also played a video from the Confident Child Blueprint program from TinyMicStory.
