What does self-love mean to you?

Self-love means loving myself and taking the necessary self-care measures for myself. We are surrounded by hate sometimes. We meet people who put us down or try their best to make us forget our self-worth. Self-love to me would mean having such a strong self-concept that other people’s mean words or actions just bounce off and ricochet rather than hurt or damage us.

Self-love means treating myself as nicely as I treat most others. It means extending the same sensitivity and care to myself that I consider others worthy of.

  1. I completely agree with you, self love for me is taking care of my mental and overall health first. Not saying YES, unless I am mentally prepared for it. Self love is very subjective topic, and I believe no two humans may mean the same definition of self love.
