I know that most people would say they climbed the Kilimanjaro or posed against lions at the Serengeti or some such wild/brave thing if asked, “What’s the bravest thing you’ve done?”
In my case, the bravest thing I’ve ever done is to be “me” and completely reveal who I am, warts and all, even with my ‘close’ friends. And you may be startled to know this happened quite recently. Most people would have done this at age three. But I chose to own who I truly am only at the age of 46.
