Aishwariya's LittLog

On Books, Writing, Editing, and More

But when we are apart,

It dims to a firefly

That disappears into the night

The sun rises

An orange delight

But I’m still thinking of last night

When I was alone and dreaming,

My emerald kaftan fluttering in the breeze ( contd after image)

The day brings with it a reality

And maybe you are only my fantasy

It breaks my heart to think

That it could be all in my head

That’s when I think
Of the few words you’ve said

And the many left unsaid

Nothing stands out

That shows you feel the same way.

Maybe I’m going astray

As they say

How can I live through each day?
