Aishwariya's LittLog

On Books, Writing, Editing, and More

You’ve always been fine just the way you are

So don’t let other people’s opinions mar

What could be a happy life for you

Haven’t you realized it, yet?

Your heart has always been true

You have risen, but you may have fallen, too

It’s like the tides at sea

So, ride every crest and

Wait it out when you are in a trough

Remember this! You’ve always been enough!

  1. The poem is in a conversational way, making it personal and relatable. Ride every crusts and wait at troughs. You might have written for your future you. But it is like a friend offering encouragement. It creates a warm and hopeful feeling.
