A Poem For My Mother On Her Birthday

No challenge
Is too big for a mother
When it comes to her child
This is what I’ve learned
As the daughter
Of my mom all this while

I sometimes think about my mother
And how much she has done
It seems a lot more
Than anyone

A long list of things I want to rectify
When it comes to things
I should abide by

I realize that each day presents
A new opportunity for me
To mend my ways
And be the great daughter
I should be
