Tomorrow marks the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, a Hindu festival honoring the birthday of the beloved deity Ganesha. The festival involves the installation of clay murtis in homes and elaborate pandals, with offerings like modak sweets distributed to the community. Rituals include Vedic hymns, prayers, and fasting, ending on the tenth day with a procession and immersion of the murti in water. This festival, observed throughout the Indian subcontinent, commemorates Ganesha as the God of New Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles, embodying wisdom and intelligence.
