Did you know that this fun celebration is observed every year on July 17th? 
World Emoji Day was established in 2014 by Jeremy Burge, the founder of Emojipedia. 
The date was specifically chosen because the calendar emoji on iOS shows July 17th, commemorating the launch of iCal for Mac by Apple in 2002.
