Aishwariya's LittLog

On Books, Writing, Editing, and More

Whenever you feel your life is starting to suck, surround yourself with positive things and people who treat you well. Life is too short, and you don’t need to help people that ill-treat you. Trust me, you don’t want to do that.

Read positive news only, practice affirmations, and hug a heart-shaped pillow. If you are a cat person and you can’t keep a cat at home, get a stuffed toy shaped like a kitty and hug it at night. It does not help if someone yells at you and tells you things. You have to be sweet, gentle and kind. How a person makes you feel is more important than the content of the talk. Remember, intent rather than content. A former boss of mine from Cognizant taught me that.
