On Books, Writing, Editing, and More

I never in my wildest dreams thought it would be possible for me to get mentored by a Sahitya Akademi + X to the power of ‘n’- award-winning author! But I was enrolled into a 13-week online program, which consisted of 13, 3-hour sessions with none other than Amit Chaudhuri. TBH, I had not read a single book of his in my life because I usually read popular fiction. The first book of his I chose was his Sahitya Akademi award-winning book. But since I was occupied with work, too, it all became extremely overwhelming. Managing social media, personal life, professional life, etc etc. And as I mentioned earlier, it led me to land up in the hospital. I made it to a session when I had a severe migraine issue. I nearly dropped dead the next day.

Now, things are better. I’m trying to pace myself. The euphoria I felt when I was accepted into the program is undeniably exhilarating. I was on cloud nine and almost worked myself to death! But I consider it the best time of my life!
