We all entered 2020
With hopes and dreams
Now, we see parts of the world
Ripped at their seams
What we must remember
Is that we are all in this together
Let’s reach out and lend a hand
To our fellowmen across the land
Let’s not give up hope
Sisters and brothers
Stay strong and positive
That’s the best way to live
To deal with all this strife
That’s suddenly thrust in our lives
Let’s pray for a brighter tomorrow
Where the world is not drowning in sorrow
Soon we will find this, too, will pass
And humanity will recover en masse
