I’ve loved Michael Jackson since I was under 10. For one performance as a witch in middle school, I belted out the lyrics to “Thriller.”
Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorise y’all’s neighbourhood
And whosoever shall be found
Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell
And rot inside a corpse’s shell
The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller
I terrorized the girls seated in the front row, and I stood first in the competition.
Recently, I watched ‘Michael’ starring his nephew, Jaafar Jackson. I loved it. Michael’s dad being mean to him was terrible to watch, though. I loved all of Michael’s performances. The movie covers his story from the Jackson 5 to Bad. They show him escaping into his own world to forget the abuse from his dad. He is shown reading Peter Pan from his childhood days. A must-see for all his fans.
