‘Open Book’ – ‘Not Quite A Memoir’

I finished reading ‘Open Book’ -‘Not quite a memoir’ by Kubbra Sait over the last couple of days. I know of her due to her role as Cuckoo in Sacred Games. In this book, she writes abut her early childhood, life at different schools, some mean teachers, a personality development programme, working in Dubai, working at Microsoft, living in Mumbai, her shoots, her talking gigs, her brother Danish Sait, her mother, her travel and diving experiences, about being sexually abused, about travelling to Malta, and undergoing a shamanic ritual, undergoing an abortion and so so much. Her book has a lot of heart, and she has a lot of soul.
