Nita Prose(Pronovost) is a Canadian writer and author of ‘The Maid’ , her bestselling and award winning debut crime novel published in 2022. ‘The Mistletoe Mystery’ is the third in the series which will culminate in ‘The Maid’s Secret’ due to be published next year.
Molly is uneasy around Christmas time with the strange behavior of her live- in beau Juan Manuel, towards a new neighbor, a blonde. As Head Maid and Head of Pastry respectively in the Regency Grand Hotel, they are busy with pre- holiday work and festivities. His furtive behavior at the hotel with a woman guest and with her best friend Angela further arouse her suspicions. She is convinced that he is cheating on her. But then nothing is as it seems.
This cute novella is a good Christmas tale and a nice Secret Santa gift for co-workers and acquaintances.
