Aishwariya's LittLog

On Books, Writing, Editing, and More

A couple of years ago, my parents and I went for the ‘Lock your box’ sale at Marina Mall. The concept at such sales and several others that have popped up since then is that you pay for books by weight/box. Priced at roughly INR 1200 upwards, you get different-sized boxes that you get to fill with books of your choice from the sale. These books are gently used, mostly from US libraries, etc., which means you won’t find black stains or incorrigible fungus marks on them.

We were happy to return with a few pink boxes of books that bibliophiles and book lovers will recognize as treasures!

I highly endorse and recommend these sales to book lovers since the prices of books can get prohibitive otherwise.
