Some Thoughts About ITC and NIIT

In my first contract position as a greeting card writer, I learned from my boss the art of negotiation. I learned to ask for what I wanted in terms of salary.

When I left ITC, the team knew I had joined NIIT, but they did not know the designation. The consensus/ guesstimate was that I had joined as a counselor at NIIT.

In my next gig at NIIT, I applied the knowledge I gleaned from my first boss and asked my next boss, “How much are the other girls getting?”

Lesson – We need to carry forward the “learnings” from one organization/boss to the next organization/boss.

A note for my dear former team – Please DM me on social media if you want this pic removed.

Also, I recommend a best practice from ITC for other organizations in the line: Please take a group photograph of your team with labels ‘coz people forget things over time.
