I remember reading a translated copy of Manimekhalai earlier and TBH, all I remember from that book is the word ‘liana’ ( whatever it means)! I found the translation abysmal.

I’m truly happy that attractive translations are available these days. I’m yet to start reading them so I can’t comment on the quality. I have a sneaky suspicion they are good.

Here’s a new translated book I bought a while back. ( Yet to start)
