A cooking experiment with sabudana

When I was in class 6, I used to make a snack with sabudana.

Today, after a trillion years, I have forgotten how I used to make it. So I threw caution to the winds and tried to make something with sabudana without consulting a single recipe book.

I first fried a bit of the sabudana in a frying pan. I then added chilli powder. Then tried to cook it with some water. And finally, I added the jaggery.

I think it was a spectacular disaster and nothing like what I used to make in school. But my mom gave me feedback that if I had skipped the chili powder, it would have been better.

I had a fun time experimenting in the kitchen.

Here’s to more reckless experimentation.
