Aishwariya's LittLog

On Books, Writing, Editing, and More

I want to tell all HSPs, writers, creative folk, and artists this: sometimes it is the other person who has made a mistake or doesn’t know the subject, who is mean to you for no apparent reason, who is rude because of a chip on their shoulder, who is terrible at articulating an idea, who doesn’t know the spelling of a word, or a word itself!

So before rushing to their side to offer help, take a step back – pause. It will do you and them a world of good. You will not be enabling their helplessness, stupidity, or bullying. You will also spare yourself the torture of a leech who sucks out your blood and feeds off your energy!

Sound drastic and scary? Yes, my friend, there are people in this vast world known as energy vampires. You would do well to stay away from them:)
