Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications (MSTP)

MSTP is a valuable resource for technical writers and editors. You can download it from this site: http://www.tdrs-us.com/

It is listed there as MSTP.CHM

When you download it to your computer, it will be a zipped file.

When you unzip it and try to use it, if you see ‘Page not displayed’ or ‘Navigation to the web page was cancelled’, here’s what you do:

1. Right click the file and select ‘Properties’
2. Click Unblock

…And you have your handy reference manual.

  1. Good day I am so happy I found your website, I really found you by mistake, while I was searching on Digg for something else, Nonetheless I am here now and would just like to say many thanks for a fantastic post and a all round enjoyable blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to look over it all at the moment but I have saved it and also added in your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read a lot more, Please do keep up the great work.
